The Rock...

The Rawla (fortress) however is an oasis of  serenity and offers a splendid view of a gigantic [350 ft high] single rock of granite dotted with caves and temples, crowned by a statue of a white elephant - proud guardian to the open desert on one side and the crumbling Aravali hills on the other .

Ayi Mata Temple...

Wake up to the sounds of this 17-century village, and take in the spiritual energy from the invigorating air descending from the Shiva Temple, lodged deep in a primal cave high on the hill. We encourage you to feed the harmless monkeys, if they come down the hills, as a token offering of prayers to Lord Hanuman.

The Step Well Dinner...

The step-well is an ancient treasure and dinners in the evening can take you back to the mists of time. During their outings in the jungle "Rawla Narlai" was once a private escape for members of the Royal Family, and occasionally the stepwell was the meeting place after a hectic day outdoors.

In the evenings bathe in the moonlight under the starry sky, listening to hypnotic and enchanting rhythms by local musicians who will rekindle the spirit in you. The gentle whispering leaves, sunbathed courtyards and starlit nights add an air of romance and mystery.

It begins with a magic show at the hotel, performed by a local magician, which lasts for some 40-45 minutes. After that the guests board bullock carts for a ride to Âmbâbâgh through the village streets which are often live with the chiming of bells & the chanting of mantrâs from the 300 odd temples that surround you. As the ride proceeds, one can experience modernity dissolving into the charm of an age gone by. The bullock carts are escorted by men in colorful turbans carrying mashâls to light the way.

The Âmbâbâgh is also very artistically decorated with mashâl lights & Diyâs, and as you enter you would see the stepwell, which although some 150 years old is still operational for irrigation. The food is served in thâlis and the guests are seated on mâches in semicircle. The guests collectively have the option of choosing the Gher dances or the kalbeliâ from Jodhpur to perform around the crackling bonfire.

Filled with surprises at every step, it will be an experience which you will cherish and remember - always
